The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) will issue its recommendation next week on the Ceylon Electricity Board’s proposed 18.3% electricity tariff increase.

The decision follows the conclusion of public consultations across all nine provinces and a review of generation cost reports and stakeholder submissions.

The study is now in its final stages.
