Cabinet Spokesman Minister Nalinda Jayatissa has stated that he and Justice Minister Harshana Nanayakkara met the Chief Prelates to clarify concerns over the proposed extension of judges’ retirement age.

The meeting followed a letter submitted to President Anura Kumara Dissanayake by the Chief Prelates of the three main chapters, expressing concerns over the proposed constitutional amendment.
