Cyclone Ditwah has caused extensive damage across Sri Lanka, destroying 6,200 houses and partially damaging 96,545 others, according to the Disaster Management Centre (DMC).
The worst-affected areas are the Kandy and Nuwara Eliya districts.
As a result, 70,297 people from 22,348 families are currently sheltered in 731 relief centres.
Authorities say relief operations are ongoing, with officials continuing to monitor the situation and assist displaced families.
