A special traffic plan will be implemented in view of the 78th National Independence Day celebrations, to be held under the theme ‘Rebuilding Sri Lanka’, the Ministry of Defence stated.

Defence Secretary Air Vice Marshal (Retd) Sampath Thuyacontha said rehearsals for the Independence Day parade will take place on January 30 and 31, and February 01 and 02.

The public has been advised to expect traffic arrangements during the rehearsal days and the main event.
