Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB) showcased the island’s film tourism potential at the 10th India International Film Tourism Conclave (IIFTC) in Mumbai from 23–25 October.

Led by renowned producer Chandran Rutnam and Chaminda Munasinghe Assistant Director of SLTPB responsible for film tourism promotion, the delegation highlighted Sri Lanka’s scenic landscapes, cultural diversity, and logistical ease to key Indian film industry representatives. 

Targeting Bollywood and regional industries, the campaign included strategic meetings with producers and the Indian Film Development Corporation (NFDC).

A partnership with the Sri Lanka Consulate General in Mumbai further strengthened ties, securing an invitation to promote Sri Lanka at the International Film Festival of India 2025, boosting the nation’s cinematic appeal globally.
