A tragic accident occurred this morning (2) when a three-wheeler collided with the ‘Rajarata Rejina’ train at a railway crossing near Ahangama railway station.

The incident claimed the life of a 62-year-old woman from the Ahangama area.

Another individual was critically injured and rushed to the Galle National Hospital for treatment.

The collision took place as the ‘Rajarata Rejina’ train was traveling from Beliatta to Vavuniya.
