Sri Lanka recorded 10,157 dengue cases in August, bringing the total number of cases this year to 95,493, according to the National Dengue Control Unit.

A total of 72 dengue-related deaths have been reported, with the mortality rate at 0.076%.

The Western Province has recorded the highest number of cases at 50,506, while 50 MOH divisions remain classified as high-risk areas.
