Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has enlisted former India fielding coach R. Sridhar to lead a 10-day high-intensity fielding program starting today (7).
The program will involve national men’s and women’s squads, emerging squads, U19 and Women’s ‘A’ teams, and Premier Club players.
Sridhar, a BCCI Level 3 coach, brings experience from over 300 international matches with India between 2014 and 2021.
He will focus on fielding drills, skill-specific sessions, and match simulations while working closely with local coaches.
The initiative aims to raise Sri Lanka’s fielding standards across all levels of the game.
