Marie Musaeus Higgins Trophy – 18TH LC-MC REGATTA: Ladies’ and Musaeus showdown at Beira tomorrow

The 18th edition annual Rowing Regatta between Ladies’ College and Musaeus College is set to get in action at the Colombo Rowing Club tomorrow (7) starting from 12 noon.

Incidentally this is the only rowing regatta rivalry between two girls’ schools of the island nation. 

Defending Champions Ladies’ College will go out to safeguard the silver at flower road while this year’s hosts Musaeuites will go out all guns blazing to win back the trophy. Ladies’ won in 2019 too. Musaeus College last won the coveted trophy in 2018. 

The regatta was not held in 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
