The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) says the deadline to submit Asset and Liability Declarations ends today (30).

Public officials who have not yet submitted their declarations must complete the process by midnight.

Under the Anti-Corruption Act No. 9 of 2023, submissions must be done online by all required officials.

CIABOC Director General Ranga Dissanayake said penalties will apply for non-compliance after the deadline.

The Commission’s website faced technical disruptions due to high user traffic.

CIABOC has granted a grace period until July 7, 12:00 midnight for affected users.
