The University Grants Commission (UGC) summoned the Vice Chancellors of all state universities across Sri Lanka for a high-level meeting. 

According to UGC Chairman Prof. Kapila Senavirathne, the meeting is expected to address several pressing issues, including the ongoing ragging crisis in universities, which has resurfaced due to recent incidents.
