President Anura Kumara Dissanayake met Catholic religious leaders led by Archbishop of Colombo Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith at the Presidential Secretariat today (10).

The meeting focused on the Easter Sunday attacks investigation and the Government’s reconciliation programme to strengthen coexistence and prevent religious or ethnic hate.

The Catholic leaders also discussed issues affecting Catholic communities and environmental concerns, while expressing support for the Government’s efforts to maintain trust among communities.
