The Lanka Private Bus Owners' Association (LPBOA) says the annual bus fare revision should take effect from tomorrow (01).

Association Chairman Gemunu Wijeratne claimed the National Transport Commission (NTC) has not discussed the revision with private bus operators and warned of legal action if it is not implemented.

The NTC said the fare revision proposal has been submitted to Cabinet and will be implemented once approval is granted.
