The Arthur C. Clarke Institute has announced that the Geminids meteor shower, considered one of the most dazzling meteor displays of the year, will be visible tonight (13th) and tomorrow night (14th).
Sri Lankans can witness the peak of the meteor shower tomorrow night, with an estimated 120 meteors visible per hour.
The meteors will be best seen in the northeastern sky after 9 PM, according to senior astronomer Indika Madaganga of the Arthur C. Clarke Institute.
