Deputy Minister of Transport and Highways Prasanna Gunasena stated that all future employee integration at the Sri Lanka Transport Board will be based strictly on qualifications and professional experience.

He said the initiative aims to establish a transparent, merit-based process across all job categories and will be implemented in all SLTB regional offices island-wide in the coming days.
