Sri Lanka has recorded 90,306 dengue cases and 65 dengue-related deaths so far this year, according to the National Dengue Control Unit.

The Western Province accounts for 47,824 cases, or 52.96% of the total. Gampaha has recorded the highest number of cases at 19,204, followed by Colombo with 17,955.

A total of 4,959 cases have been reported during the first 10 days of August, while July recorded the highest monthly total with 29,973 cases.
