Army Commando troops have been deployed to recover the body of a person who had been missing for about six days after reportedly falling into a ravine in Indolawatta, Ayagama.

The body was located near the Gale Temple, with troops using ropes and other equipment to descend the steep ravine and reach the site.

The operation is being carried out under the supervision of Army Commander Lieutenant General Nilantha Premaratne.
