Two deaths have been reported due to adverse weather conditions, according to the Disaster Management Centre (DMC).

The fatalities were reported from Batticaloa and Jaffna districts.

A total of 3,475 individuals from 1,113 families across 35 Divisional Secretariat divisions in eight districts have been affected.

The DMC said 104 people are in two safety centres, while 88 houses have been partially damaged.
