Officials of the Hatton-Dickoya Urban Council removed unauthorised structures outside shops at the Hatton Public Market today (20).

The structures, including racks and displays, had extended beyond shop areas and obstructed pedestrian walkways.

Some traders and opposition council members protested during the operation, while the Urban Council continued removing the structures.
