Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism, Vijitha Herath, met Andreas Bovenschulte, Mayor of Bremen, at the UNESCO World Heritage listed Bremer Rathaus.

Posting on X, Minister Herath said the discussion focused on how Bremen, a hub for industries including automotive, trading, and logistics, could explore emerging business opportunities in Sri Lanka. 

The meeting also highlighted potential collaboration in Sri Lanka’s growing tourism sector, particularly given its rising popularity among German travelers.
