A 23-year-old suspect from Beruwala has been arrested over an alleged online financial scam in which a victim was defrauded of Rs. 4.38 million, police stated.

The Computer Crime Investigation Division (CCID) noted that the alleged fraud was carried out through Facebook and Telegram, and further investigations are underway.
