The Department of Meteorology has issued a warm weather advisory for the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern and North-Western provinces, and the districts of Monaragala and Mannar.

The heat index is expected to reach the ‘Caution Level’ in some areas tomorrow (12).

Residents have been advised to stay hydrated and limit prolonged outdoor activities.
