A fire has broken out at two shops in the busy Kiribathgoda Town area today (30).

Five firefighting trucks have been dispatched to the scene to control the blaze.

Efforts are currently underway to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby buildings. 

No casualties have been reported yet.
