Indictments were served yesterday (30 April) before the Colombo High Court against the Bodu Bala Sena organisation’s General Secretary Galagodaaththe Gnanasara Thera, regarding an allegedly derogatory statement made by him on Islam.  

Following this, the Court had ordered the monk be released on bail.
