One person has died and another remains missing following a drowning incident involving two individuals at Mannakethi Ella in Kitulgala yesterday evening (23).

A search operation is underway to locate the missing person, with rescue personnel continuing efforts in the area.

Kitulgala Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
