Maligawatta Police have arrested four individuals, including two cousins, in connection with smuggled goods worth over Rs. 10 million.

The consignment, which police recovered during a raid, included 26 smartphones, ten iPads, ten tablet computers, and three laptops, along with perfumes and body lotions.

The suspects reportedly flew to Dubai on 30 September and illegally brought the items through Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake, on their return yesterday(2), avoiding customs duties. 

Maligawatta Police are conducting further investigations.
