Police arrested 925 suspects during extensive drug prevention operations across the island as part of the “Ratama Ekata” national campaign, according to police reports.

A total of 932 raids were carried out nationwide, resulting in detention orders for 23 suspects and the referral of 2 individuals for rehabilitation programs.

The seizures included a variety of illegal substances such as heroin, ice, cocaine, cannabis, cannabis plants, kush, drug pills, madanamodaka, and mawa.

Police officials stated that the “Ratama Ekata” campaign will continue to intensify its efforts across the country to combat drug trafficking and drug abuse effectively.
