The National Police Commission has approved the immediate transfer and appointment of 16 Officers-in-Charge (OICs) across the Sri Lanka Police.

According to Police Headquarters, the transfers include 12 Chief Inspectors of Police and 4 Inspectors of Police. The changes are effective immediately.
