Sri Lanka has recorded 1,104,354 tourist arrivals between 01 January and 21 June, 2026, according to the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA).

India remained the country's largest source market with 281,418 arrivals, followed by the United Kingdom (104,751) and Russia (76,963). 

So far in June, 82,332 tourists have visited Sri Lanka, with India, the UK and China emerging as the top source markets.
