The government has begun coordinating arrangements for the 126th Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte Rajamaha Viharaya Sri Dalada Maha Perahera, following a planning meeting at the Presidential Secretariat today (23).

The annual procession is scheduled to begin at 8.00 p.m. on 12 September.

Officials discussed institutional support, logistics and coordination among State agencies to organise the Perahera.
