The National Building Research Organisation (NBRO) has issued a Level-3 (Red) landslide evacuation warning for several areas in the Kandy and Nuwara Eliya districts.

The warning is in effect from 8:00 a.m. today (26) until 8:00 p.m. tomorrow (27).

Affected areas include the Udadumbara DSD in Kandy, and the Walapane, Nildandhahinna, Mathurata, and Hanguranketha DSDs in Nuwara Eliya. Residents in these regions are urged to evacuate if necessary and remain alert to potential landslide risks.
