One of the bus drivers involved in a head-on crash on Moronthuduwa Road, Wadduwa, has died from injuries sustained in the accident. 

The collision, which occurred early this morning, involved two private buses with no passengers onboard. 

Both drivers were taken to Panadura Base Hospital, with one in critical condition. 

Police suspect overtaking may have caused the crash, which disrupted traffic in the Malegama area. 

Wadduwa Police are investigating.
