Minister of Religious and Cultural Affairs Hiniduma Sunil Senevi told Parliament that four Israeli religious centres are operating in Sri Lanka, with two located in Pottuvil and Thimbirigasyaya unregistered. 

The centres in Weligama and Ella are registered under the Companies Act. 

Security for the Colombo 7 centre has now been withdrawn, following concerns raised by MP Mujibur Rahman.
