The Department of Motor Traffic (DMT) has requested the public to inform them of their purchased new vehicle details immediately through WhatsApp.

To facilitate this process, the DMT has introduced a WhatsApp number (0768833300) for immediate notification of vehicle details.

Accordingly, the seller must notify the DMT through the Vehicle Ownership Transfer Board, and the buyer must transfer the vehicle's ownership to their name within 14 days of purchase. 

The DMT also stated that a fine will be imposed upon those who fail to inform them of the changing of vehicle ownership.
