Close to 2,000 workers employed on a contract basis by the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWS&DB) have voiced grievances about not being transitioned to permanent positions, citing alleged discrimination by upper management. Despite promises of permanent appointments, these positions have not materialised.

The workers are now demanding that the Government address their grievances promptly.
