U.S. travel advisory for Sri Lanka updated

The U.S. Department of State has updated its travel advisory for Sri Lanka, warning of civil unrest and terrorism.

The advisory, which is now at Level 2, advises U.S. citizens to "exercise increased caution" when travelling to Sri Lanka.

This is a downgrade from the previous advisory issued last year, which was at Level 3, "Reconsider Travel."
