Police have located the schoolgirl abducted in Daulagala, Kandy, on 11 January. 

She and the primary suspect were found aboard a luxury bus near the Ampara Bus Stand today (13).

The suspect, a close relative of the victim, allegedly abducted her after a dispute over their proposed marriage. 

The van used in the abduction was found abandoned in Polonnaruwa, and the driver was arrested on 12 January. 

Investigations are ongoing.
