The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) will hold a digital payments awareness programme in Trincomalee on 5 and 6 June.

The event will take place near the Trincomalee Central Bus Stand from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with the participation of banks, financial institutions and payment service providers.

The programme aims to promote digital payment methods among government officials, businesses and the public.

Visitors will be able to receive assistance to register for digital payment services and learn how to use platforms including LankaPay and LANKAQR.
