The Department of Meteorology revealed that due to the apparent northward relative motion of the sun, it will be directly over the latitudes of Sri Lanka from 5 to 14 April.

According to the Department, the sun will be overhead the areas of Kahawa, Meetiyagoda, Elamaldeniya, Ambakolawewa, and Bundala at about 12:13 noon today (5).
