The daughter of MP Rohitha Abeygunawardena has surrendered to the Walana Anti-Vice Unit with her lawyer over an investigation into an illegally assembled vehicle. 

Her husband, Dhanushka Weerakkody, remains in remand. 

He is also linked to a similar vehicle seizure in Matugama. 

MP Jagath Vithana’s son, earlier arrested in connection with the case, has been released on bail.
