A fuel shipment from India carrying 20,000 metric tons of diesel and 18,000 metric tons of petrol is scheduled to arrive at the Port of Colombo today (28).
The delivery follows a recent discussion between President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi aimed at addressing fuel supply concerns.
Officials said coordination between both countries enabled Indian Oil Corporation to expedite the shipment to Lanka IOC.
