The Welfare Benefits Board announced that elderly citizens over 70 receiving Aswesuma aid will have their monthly allowance credited to their bank accounts starting today (28). 

Over Rs. 2.96 billion has been disbursed to 592,766 eligible beneficiaries nationwide.
