Visa-free entry to Sri Lanka for tourists from seven countries has been extended by a month.
Chairman of Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) Priyantha Fernando stated that the scheme will be in effect until 30 April.
Visa-free entry was approved for tourists from India, Russia, China, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan and Malaysia.
Fernando also stated that the decision was reached due to the increase in the number of tourist arrivals.
