The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) says urgent restoration work is underway to resume water supply in districts affected by recent floods and landslides, with services expected to normalize within two days.

Chairman Eng. A.M.P.C.T. Bandara stated assistance from the Tri-Forces and key agencies including the Irrigation Department, Road Development Authority, and Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) has been mobilized to expedite repairs and restoration.
