The Government Radiological Technologists’ Association has stated that a token strike will take place tomorrow (21).

The action is over the lack of an impartial investigation into the conduct of a Deputy Director at the National Institute for Nephrology, Dialysis and Transplantation in Maligawatte.

The strike will run from 8.00 a.m. tomorrow until 8.00 a.m. on Thursday (22).

All radiation-based services, including CT scans, MRI scans, angiograms and mammograms, will be suspended during the period.
