The Colombo High Court today (06) ordered that the case filed against Yoshitha Rajapaksa and his grandmother, Daisy Forrest, under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, be taken up for a pre-trial conference on 12 November.
The case was heard before High Court Judge Udesh Ranatunga, where the prosecution handed over several documents to the defence.
The Attorney General has charged Rajapaksa and Forrest with illegally acquiring assets worth approximately Rs. 73 million.
