The Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) will take place from 24-26 October 2024, in Apia, Samoa, under the theme "Facing Challenges, Building a Positive Future for the Commonwealth."

Sri Lanka will be represented by senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Sri Lankan High Commission in London. 

The Cabinet has approved the proposal from Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vijitha Herath for Sri Lanka's participation.
