A delegation from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka today (22) to assess the damage caused by Cyclone Ditwah.

The team will hold discussions with relevant authorities and examine the impact on infrastructure, livelihoods, and economic stability.

The delegation will remain in the country until January 28, with attention also expected to focus on the next phase of the IMF’s extended funding facility for Sri Lanka.
