The Election Commission (EC) has gazetted the name of Lakshman Nipuna Arachchi to fill the vacancy created in Parliament following the election of Anura Kumara Dissanayake as the 9th Executive President of Sri Lanka.

Accordingly, Lakshman Nipuna Arachchi has been appointed to the Parliament as a Colombo District MP of the National People’s Power (NPP).
