Minister of Public Security Ananda Wijepala announced that ten hospitals have been designated to treat individuals severely addicted to narcotics.

He made the statement during the Kalutara District meeting of the nationwide “A Nation United” mission.

The Minister also revealed that the office of the National Council on Drug Control will be established in Torrington to strengthen national efforts against drug abuse.
